Joel is founder and became CTO of Openr, an open platform for data and AI driven innovation in hospitality, in 2022. The role was initially held concurrently with Digital and Technology Director at Azzurri Group, which he joined in 2019. Prior to that he spent ten years in diverse roles at Sainsbury’s, including buyer, assistant to Justin King, store manager, senior product owner and head of strategy and ways of working.
